A new product Maccarri came up with for polishing, protecting, and conditioning newly finished stocks as well as older heavily used stocks. Stock Mud protects the wood while blending the finish into a uniform satin-semi gloss finish. It removes finish debris left by dust, lint, and poorly applied finishes. Allow your new finish to cure following the stock finish manufacturers information. If you do not know this information, allow the stock finish to cure for one week. Apply stock mud to a lint free cloth or towel and very lightly rub with the grain to make the finish debris free and to blend the finish eliminating flash spots and the like. Wipe dry with a clean cloth or towel. Works well with RLO, Varnish, Polys, Tru Oil, and most finishes. It will remove dirt and crud from older used stocks as well and leave a nice sheen. The Formula is Non Toxic as well.
